CANCEL CULTURE I

“Cancel culture or call-out culture is a modern form of ostracism in which someone is thrust out of social or professional circles – whether it be online, on social media, or in person. Those subject to this ostracism are said to have been “cancelled.” The expression “cancel culture” has mostly negative connotations and is used in debates on free speech and censorship.” (Wikipedia)

Cancel culture is an intolerance of opposing views, a platform for public shaming and ostracism. We cannot have opposing views and opinions… and if we have different opinions we are enemies. I am canceled if you do not agree with me or me with you. This is a dangerous way to live and gives breeding grounds for Totalitarianism.
