The Generous Way is the Kingdom Way. This is the Sermon on the Mount way. We can only know this is so by being generously present.

I would add, any amount of generosity changes the present. Or as The Message version translates Luke 6:38:

“Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.” Jesus
