AWAKENING GRACE

The gift of grace re-awakens our memory of Eden. I also believe that our presence to the beauty of nature is simply a reminder of our deepest DNA from Eden. It is what we were from the beginning and what we desire in our profoundest inner place. We may not know what causes us to enjoy certain sounds like rain, wind, waves, birds singing and the purr of a cat. It may be a mystery why trees, rivers, rocks, mountains, high desert and the symmetry of orchards and fields of vegetables have a place in us. We may not know why flowers, and gardens, lawns and shrubs play a part in our living habits. I believe it to be a conscious and unconscious desire for the perfection of Eden.

I also notice that when we cannot have the actual and natural phenomenon of nature in the outdoors that we have paintings and art, plants and flowers and small trees and pictures of nature in our indoors. It is what makes us people of Paradise. Paradise is the Garden of Eden.

What grace does as the gift of God is to restore us and re-awaken our memory of Eden. It is where we belong. Where we want to be.
