AUDIENCE OF ONE

There is an old saying (Puritan, I think) that says, ‘Live for an audience of One.’ Many people have adapted this saying in various ways. One of the most popular is Oz Guinness, “I live before the audience of One-before others I have nothing to gain, nothing to lose, nothing to prove.”

The audience of One is Three who are still One. That is difficult to understand. The Trinitarian God that is One is no simple or easy thing to explain or understand.

Jesus made it very clear that he is the Audience of One and has his Father as his audience of One.
