A NEW PEOPLE
Christians seem tired, and many are confused. Some are hurting, some are wounded, some have stopped caring, some are disgusted, and some disoriented. Many have just become quiet, and have decided to just wait and see. Maybe it’s not lethargy. Maybe it is reality. There are a lot of people ‘who just don’t get it’ anymore. Many suffer from religion.
When so many parts and members of Jesus Christ’s body become affected; it is not long before it settles into a dusty, quiet, hazy mood. The Holy Spirit has given gifts to each person within the Body of Christ to be used for the benefit of all. The King we serve and the body, of which we are a part, needs desperately for everybody to shake off the passive blues and become red hot for the sake of the gospel of the Kingdom. The great mission and commission need every available and able person. Time seems so irrelevant, and talents so buried. The dormant season must end, and the flowers must bloom. A new people will also bloom when this season ends.
Where are the prophetic and apostolic voices to lead this new time and movement? Send them Lord, I pray.
“I will send you prophets and wise men and scribes.” Jesus
