MAKING FORM
Making form out of formlessness is a way to describe the quietness and solitude needed for the creative person to produce. In the very beginning it was just that: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”
To make form from formlessness is the process of making things to have order, beauty, function, peace; or the form that best creates our intention, as in art, music, poetry or writing. Form is also necessary in marriage relationships, our relationship with the Father, businesses that are deformed, ministries that are formless, financial situations that are formless… they all need form.
Nothing is formed properly until the Holy Spirit “moves over it” to make it complete. Though all other options are tried and some help… the Holy Spirit is the one who forms the formless.
“And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.” Jesus
