MAY IT BE SO
Paul, an apostle wrote a very encouraging letter to the Romans: These ‘mays’ are all in Chapter 15. May it be so…
“For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures” (v.4)
“Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus” (v.5)
“So that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice” (v.6)
“And so that Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy” (v.9)
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace” (v.13)
“As you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (v.13)
“God’s purpose is that the Gentiles may be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit” (v.16)
“Pray that I may be rescued from the unbelievers in Judea” (v.31)
“That my ministry to Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints” (v.31)
“I may come to you with joy and be refreshed together with you” (v.32)
“May the God of peace be with all of you. Amen” (v.33)
“I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.” Jesus
