LEGACY

‘A legacy means passing on something that will be valued and appreciated by those who come after you. It can be a physical item, a financial gift, or a way of living that inspires others.’ (Thesaurus)  

We will ‘pass on something’ regardless of what it might be… valuable or worthless. “You must live life with the full knowledge that your actions will remain. We are creatures of consequence,” wrote Zadie Smith, author.
The consequence is the legacy, or is the legacy the consequence?

One of my favorite quotes on this subject is from Peter Strople, business strategist, he wrote, “Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in people.” Again, we will leave something…
