IN YOUR LIGHT

“For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.” (Psalm 36:9)

The scriptures are clear that ‘the light’ was the Word coming into the world:

“In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created
and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.”
(John 1:1-5)

It is also clear that we love the light or we love the darkness… or we love twilight.

“He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten (Or unique, only one of His kind) Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. (John 3:18-20)
