THE WAYS OF JESUS

When I consider the great teachings of Jesus; it makes me wonder about so many things. I get amazed daily by the wisdom found in the gospels. They are endless and full of riches to be unearthed and uncovered. It is remarkable to see the wisdom and pattern of how Jesus dealt with questions, and often confrontations, with parables and comments about the Father. On so many occasions it is recorded how those he confronted by proclamation reacted to Him and His message. By knowing this we can determine, at least in part, why others react to our proclamation a certain way. Our proclamation is very seldom “teaching” or “preaching” but is basically by the way we live, who we are and what we do. This speaks louder than words. As St. Francis once said to his disciples, “Go, and preach the gospel and use words if necessary.”
