KEEP WITHIN

George Fox (1624-1691), Quaker mystic, preacher and healer wrote:

“Keep within. And when they say, ‘Look here or look there is Christ,’ go not forth. For Christ is within you, and all who try to draw your mind away from the teaching inside you are opposed to Christ. For the measure’s within, and the light of God is within, and the pearl is within you, though hidden.”

Fox also said of his youth: “The Lord taught me to be faithful, in all things, and to act faithfully two ways: inwardly to God, and outwardly to man.”

That about covers it.
