THIS YEAR’S BIRDS
There is an old proverb: ‘You don’t get this years birds from last year’s nests.’ Don’t look for something new in something old. New truth seems to come more easily to those who have a firm grip on old truth but are also willing to let go of the old for the new. The new can easily come for those who are strong and faithful in old truth.
A greater danger than transition is not being in transition.
As long as the enemy can have us believe for what happened yesterday (old oil, old anointing, old ways) or have us believe for tomorrow (new oil, new anointing, new ways) he doesn’t care what we believe… as long as we don’t believe in Now Oil and Now Anointing and the Now way.
We need New Wine Revelation in this season.
Jesus said it so clearly in Luke 5:36-39:
“No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the patch from the new garment will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. And no one, after drinking old wine wants new; for he says, ‘The old is fine.’” Jesus
