ANOTHER WEIGH IN

I recently had another visit to my local doctor for another Old People’s Check Up. But before seeing the doctor I must be processed and weighed in by Delores the Medical Assistant. I had heard about this guy who said: ‘I would lose more weight but I don’t like losing.’ I told Delores about this clever saying… ‘I don’t like losing.’ She said it appeared that I was big winner.

Then she looked at my list of prescriptions and supplements on her computer and wanted to know if any of that had changed. I told her it was the same and Delores said, ‘That’s good because you probably have to use an egg carton now for your daily pill box.’ She’s insightful about things like that.

She said the doctor would be in soon and kind of shook her head and said, ‘You must have a lot on your plate…’ I don’t think she was referring to being busy doing stuff. I don’t like going to the doctor’s office.
