MONKEY MILK
Recently in the night I received this parable:
Out in the jungle a small seed sprouted up through the rich soil and became a tiny little twig of a plant. It grew very rapidly and was vigorous and healthy and was soon a small tree. It started to limb out and take form from the various branches. Before long it was quite large and healthy and began to blossom. It had an abundance of good and desirable fruit.
Various birds started to come and build nests in the tree and eat the delicious fruit. It was a popular tree. One day a male monkey and a female monkey came to the tree to gather and eat fruit. They were very impressed with the tree and the fruit and decided to make the tree their home and so they did. Each day after going about the jungle they would come back to their home tree.
The two monkeys soon had a baby monkey. It was a healthy and lively baby and was nursed on nutritious Monkey Milk from the mother. The Monkey Milk caused the baby to grow into a strong fruit eating healthy little monkey.
Moral of the story: It takes a healthy tree to produce healthy fruit and healthy Monkey Milk.
“A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit.” Jesus
