THE HIDDEN YEARS

I once read where a guy wrote: “I sometimes wish others did not know what I did from the time I was 12 years old to 30 years just like Jesus.” These are commonly called The Hidden Years of Jesus.

There are some thoughts to process right there. For most of us those were the growing up years in junior high and high school and beyond. Some folks can get a rough start in that time period. It is along about this time that we become focused and serious about education, marriage, money, dreams, experiments and reject or come to faith in Christ. It is the first 18 years that can well determine the rest of our lives.

You surely do not need to know about my early years. As a matter of fact I’m headed over to my side of the Pond to have some Cuban Coffee, Biscuits and Apricot Jam and to thank Jesus for grace, light and freedom. You may want to join me.
