MARIBEL’S SILENCE

Silence is always there
Like God’s love
We cannot create either
They are a perfect pair

Both are something we enter 
To experience a peaceful presence
And feel the joy that over whelms
As we abide at their center

In the silence we can hear God speak
In a noiseless voice that touches the heart
As we receive the answers that the noise
We created causes us to seek

The pond was silent and then
From the center there was a splash
Followed by a calming ripple
The pond returned to silence again
