WHAT’S RIGHT

Richard Bull (1955-2021) After 34 years as a law enforcement officer, advocate and chief, Richard, retired from the Ripon, California police department in 2010.

I recently read about the passing of this man and his long life of commitment to law enforcement and community service. The article mentioned he firmly carried out a motto that sat plainly on his desk:

“What’s right is not always popular; what’s popular is not always right.”
