TO HIM BE GLORY
I often try to think of ways to praise and thank the Lord and to celebrate his name and Kingdom ways. Then I think of scriptures that are so full and packed with depth and insight. For example:
“How great are God’s riches! How deep are his wisdom and knowledge! Who can explain his decisions? Who can understand his ways? As the scripture says,
“Who knows the mind of the Lord?
Who is able to give him advice?
Who has ever given him anything,
so that he had to pay it back?”
For all things were created by him, and all things exist through him and for him. To God be the glory forever! Amen.” (Romans 11:33-36)
Scriptures like this save me a lot of time and trouble in trying to figure out what to say in my time of praise and thanksgiving. I just say what Paul said.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Jesus
