THE FINISHED WORK

Since the Cross…the Lord does not view sin, circumstance, epidemic, pandemic, earthquake, tragedy, flood, famine, hurricane and snaky bank practices, cheating, lying, lust or whatever we want to add to the list as some special sin or circumstance to be negotiated.

The Lord’s answer to all of this and every sin is to go back to the Work of the Cross. It is as if the Father is saying, “I did all I am going to do forever. If you have any of these issues, problems, sins, patterns or psychological, physical, or emotional failures…go to the Cross, that is my remedy…period. I am not going to do anything else to provide or deal with any and all of these issues. It is finished. My Son has finished his work. You must respond to that and nothing else.”

Book of Hebrews 7:27, “He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.” It was once for all.
