ON CAMERA

I see more cameras and phones recording events, wars, news, politics, resistance, or whatever than any actual war, bullets, mortars or bombs… or real news and events.

I think the new ‘warfare’ is video. If we can record an event and put it into social media and instant time… then we have our case, our position and our verdict. Facts and truth and reality are insignificant. We have a picture (maybe) of this event!

This is not a call to be sneaky, clever, or shrewd or any of that stuff…it is a call to be free of all of it. The innocent person never fears the law. The videos simply do not help me to be more vigilant… they make me want to revolt and resist scrutiny. I do not like being spied upon everywhere I go and everything I do. But, if culturally it is necessary then that tells us another story about ourselves in 2020. This is not pretty. Smile… you are on someone’s stupid camera!

Don’t confuse the camera of God with the camera of man.
