RECIPE #19 FANNIE PEARL’S GOULASH
This is an old family stand-by and go-to recipe for a hot filling meal for a family or a crowd if the recipe is multiplied.
1 lb. Hamburger (85%-15%)
1/2 Yellow Onion
1/2 Bell Pepper
2- 8 oz. cans Tomato Sauce
2- teaspoons Chili Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 Cups Small Sea Shell Noodles
1 cup Cheddar Cheese
Directions;
Cook the Noodles and set aside. In a large skillet, Brown the Hamburger, Onion and Bell Pepper. Add Tomato Sauce, Chili powder, Salt and Pepper.
Simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Add cooked Noodles and cook another 10 minutes while stirring occasionally. Top with shredded Cheese.
Serve with Garlic Bread and Green Salad, Iced Tea or Buttermilk (but not Diet Sprite or Diet Dr Pepper).
