GOOD TREE, BAD TREE

Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

We must not allow the agricultural theme to cloud the obvious intent of people (false prophets) that are corrupt internally which are signified by the term ‘fruit’ that are inwardly rotten. We cannot get grapes from thorn bushes and we cannot get figs from thistles. Good tree…good fruit. Bad tree…bad fruit.

We can by submission to Kingdom re-birth and Kingdom principles turn a bad tree into one that is good and has good fruits.

“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.” Jesus
