FAMOUS FAMILY RECIPE SERIES
RECIPE #5 GRAHAM CRACKERS AND
WHITE ICING
This is a delightful nutritious dessert or a main meal if you have enough of the little treats and a glass of cold milk or a cup of hot coffee.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup softened margarine (or butter)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups confectioners’ (powdered) sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
(Optional if you want Chocolate Icing…although it
will no longer be White, but Brown and wrecked.)
1/4 cup milk
10 whole Graham Crackers
Directions:
In a large bowl using an electric mixer, beat the margarine and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir in the confectioner’s sugar (and cocoa if you want to ruin it) until smooth. Beat in the milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired spreading consistency is reached. You may need to adjust the amount of milk used.
Spread the Icing on half a Graham Cracker and then top with other half making a little sandwich.
Makes about 20 little Graham Cracker treats.
