GENDER ORPHANS

A Gender Orphan is simply someone who does not know who they are. Our society is now full of such people. Identity Theft happens in more than one way.
Many things can cause the Orphan Spirit but some form of rejection is usually involved. This may be Rejection from parents, leaders, teachers, or relationships of various kinds… whatever. The rejection may come from legalism in religion thus causing someone to perceive themselves orphaned from the Father. With Christians it is often believed one must perform to earn the Father’s love.
Gender Orphans come from being orphaned in a variety of ways. To not know who we are in one area causes confusion in other areas. The orphan spirit is recognizable by insecurity and jealousy out of a rejected heart and usually manifested as resentment. If we do not know who we are…we can also very well not know what we are, or whose we are.
The only cure for the Gender Orphan is to come into sonship with the Father. We then know our gender, our position and who we are and what we are about…the true self from the false self. We each need to hear the Father say, “This is my beloved son/daughter in whom I am well pleased.”
