KINGDOM MISSION
Jesus’ mission situations are as varied as the needs of others can be known. From hunger to health, water to wisdom, education to land ownership, peace and justice to toleration, racism to reformation, salvation to simple seeds, clothing to cultural understanding, newborn needs to new life needs. It takes apostolic wisdom and prophetic timing to know the secrets of solution by kingdom process.
Preparing new disciples to think new ways about bringing the gospel of the kingdom is a heavy and humiliating experience. It has never been different. The gospels and the book of the Acts of the Apostles speak of exactly this invasion into human culture with the culture of heaven. Without foundation from apostles and prophets most works remain small and insignificant and under funded. They become a ‘pocket of good’ rather than a kingdom invasion into a need area.
“Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Jesus
