COME AND BELIEVE

Recently in prayer my heart was crying out for the light and truth of Jesus. Let it shine! Shine for me today!

Then the familiar Psalm 43 came to me, “O send out your light and your truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling.”

I am to come and believe. Neither one is enough by itself. If I only come, I am just curious and inquisitive. If I only believe I have not troubled myself enough to really look into Jesus and make my considerations. I must come and believe. Come and believe… cleave, trust, and rely.

“I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on me will never thirst any more (at any time).” Jesus
