BECOMING EVERYONE’S #2
The kingdom is operational for the pleasure of God, and its principles may be applied by anyone (i.e., ‘Do to others as you want them to do to you’). Only regeneration causes kingdom possession, not just for us, but also for others. The core of the kingdom is love. It is impossible to love without involving others. The alternative is to only love ourselves and the cycle of possession is reverted back to personal possessing. We have been highly trained to be private, independent, personal and self-reliant and because of this we are possessive to insure these traits are strong.
This is the reason that community and fellowship are almost reduced as terms for familial understanding but not for the fraternity of disciples. Community is when we possess God and His kingdom and then we each desire to become everyone’s. This is the stripping of individualistic response to God and man and we lose the thrill of possessing the ‘seen.’ This is when faith is greater than our abilities and possessing. We become everyone’s by faith.
