SILENT AND SOLO

Barna Group, a Christian research organization, has recently published a survey on how people pray. They asked the question:

How do you most often pray?

Silently to myself 82%
Audibly to myself 13%
Audibly with another person or group 2%
Collectively with a church 2%

I found none of this to be unusual. I suppose because culturally we are a private and independent people. Besides… I know for sure I am in the 82% group. Silent and solo is where its at for me…except I would change the wording to ‘silently by myself’ not ‘to myself.’
