THE KINGDOM PARTY

When a person does not give the standard religious answers to standard religious questions… it often appears to others that they are rebellious or uninformed. The issue might really be that a person can have a very different answer based simply on the fact of believing and being part of the Kingdom of God now and desiring Kingdom dynamics now. The Kingdom of God will often conflict with man’s religion. It was no different for Jesus.

The Pharisees and Herodians (Jewish leaders who agreed with Herod, ruler of Judea during the days of Jesus) were trying to trap Jesus in his teaching one day and they said, “Teacher, we know that you are true and teach the way of God truthfully, and you do not care about anyone’s opinion, for you are not swayed by appearances.” They clearly stated what it is like to be a Kingdom person.

It is not a political party; religious party, media party, or TV party, but only the Kingdom party. The Kingdom is ruled by the ascended Christ who “does care about anyone’s opinion and is not swayed by appearances” but only hears and follows the Voice of the Father.
