NO OTHER
It has become very unpopular to speak of God as One, or one God. To say there is only one God is somehow unfair treatment to the other gods that have been popularized and believed by many people.
Though this may be culturally true it is certainly not true by scripture. Isaiah, an 8th century prophet wrote,
“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.”
The Book of the Acts of the Apostles, written by Luke, says, “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Paul, an apostle, wrote, “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
We either believe philosophy and culture and other scattered voices… or what the scriptures clearly teach.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” Jesus
