WASHING MACHINE REPAIR
A while back we had our washing machine go haywire. The clothes were not getting clean because the washer would not wash and rinse them properly. We tried to adjust all the knobs and buttons, the hot and cold buttons, re-leveled it a half-dozen times and nothing seemed to work. So I decided to really work on it.
I went out to the garage and got my chain saw, a couple of pipe wrenches, Crescent wrench, the big hammer, vice grips, water pump pliers, and three or four screwdrivers, a floor jack and a blow torch. Mainly just the things one needs to work on washing machines. After repeated attempts to fix this blasted thing with all my mechanical skills… I gave up. It simply would not wash clothes as it once did. Time to get help.
I called the appliance repairman and he said he would come out and take a look for about $130.00. I was ready after all my hassle and effort. He came and I mentioned all the pre-repair work I had already done with no success. He first turned off the hot and cold water and took off the hoses and looked at the little screens inside each hose and said it looked to him like sand in the screens was plugging up the water flow. He cleaned the screens and hooked the hoses back up and started the washer. It worked great. I paid him the $130 dollars and there is really nothing else that should ever be said about this to anyone.
