TOGETHER TO BE ALONE
Like Moses we can each have our burning bush experience, get counsel from others, search out a teacher, read the scriptures, sit alone in prayer, receive prophecy, speak in tongues, seek silence and solitude; but eventually we must remember the final decisions and conclusions we must make alone.
We are blessed if we have even one person with whom we can walk, with whom we can share and get help from and to whom we can give help. We are blessed if in a lifetime we have one or two teachers, one counselor, one guide, and one spiritual mother or father. But even so, if they have all been truly wise, they have only led us to where we can make decisions alone and without them.
“I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Jesus
