THIS WON’T TAKE A MINUTE

Usually when someone tells us (or we tell them), “This won’t take a minute….” Expect at least 20 minutes to an hour…

“I’m just going to run in here and I’ll be right out… it won’t take a minute.” If you believe that…you will believe about anything.

The Mall will only take a minute? Are you crazy? It will only take a minute to run into the supermarket and “grab a few groceries.” I’m coming to pick you up… be there in a couple of minutes.

Going in to buy bait, beer, baloney, beans, and bread… and get directions to a fishing hole…. “this won’t take a minute.”

A Minute: is any undetermined amount of time from 20 to 60 actual minutes…
