THE SOLUTION

There are many problems and very difficult things we are called to deal with right now. We could list them as problems from A-Z and then some. There is no end to the devastation to various sectors of our society from bankruptcy of faith to bankruptcy of business to bankruptcy of life. There are many cries for help!

To be adrift and hoping not to sink or drown is a very real experience. We must see how essential it is to present the solution and not just the problem. A person can drone on about everything is going to hell in a hand basket or by faith we can believe that the Lord will come to our rescue by faith and intercession. This is not just pie-in-the-sky theology or Moon Pie faith. The solution is to “seek first the Kingdom of God.” There is no Plan B… it is the Kingdom…or fight it out on our own terms in humanistic stubbornness and conceit. Bankruptcy simply means we have no answer but what man offers. We need to listen to the Lord.

We must yoke ourselves to the easy yoke and let the Lord carry the load we could never possibly carry. It is easy enough to write about…but now we have to come to faith about it. Take my load, Lord.
