PRAYER ESSENTIALS

Many of us have tried to write or speak about prayer essentials. There are many ideas out there. What is the content and context of prayer for us personally? Questions like this have been around for a long time.

No matter how much experience I have with prayer and meditation I can go before the Lord on many mornings and feel like I have been cut off like a morning whisker. There seems to be no ‘right way’ a lot of times.

Perhaps the essentials are as contemporary writer Anne Lamott says, ““Help, Thanks, Wow. The three essentials of prayer.”
