LOCATING OURSELVES
Regardless of our various orientations and emphasis as we navigate to build our life; there is one path that is a sure-fire way of learning to locate ourselves. As Paul, an apostle, wrote to the Church at Philippi,
“Finally, brothers,
whatever is true,
whatever is honorable,
whatever is just,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence,
if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.” (Book of Philippians 4:8)
Thinking about these things helps us to locate ourselves and stay located. And as Annie Dillard wrote, “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.” Being located is a day well spent.
“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Jesus
