GET READY TO BE READY

There is going to be a fight.
I don’t intend to lose.
I do not fight to lose.
A good fight is the one I win.

I would add a third… by Faith. “Fight the good fight of faith… “ (1 Timothy 1:18; 6:12; 2 Timothy 4:7)

I keep hearing: ‘Like never before… we must get ready to be ready.’

I have probably heard this word more than any other for the last year or so: ‘Get Ready to Be Ready.’

So of course I ask ‘Get Ready to be Ready for What?’ What I am hearing is not ‘gloom and doom’ but rather how are we going to disciple tens of thousands of new young believers who have sold out for Jesus and want to follow the Kingdom way? Do I know how? Do I know what to do? Help me Jesus with your people, with your baby birds. Help me find them a limb to cling to.
