EMBEZZLER

Recently I heard this in the night: There are those who embezzle ideas, people, products, names and other things as well as money. (This was a word for a specific individual that has employees that are embezzling (stealing) his company products, people and money). I think it has wider instruction for all of us.

To embezzle means to steal or misappropriate money in the usual sense. To steal is to steal…whatever is being stolen. To steal is to take what belongs to another. Moses said in the Law: “You shall not steal.” If you have ever been ripped off (and most have) you know how angry and violated you feel. You have been embezzled.

It is very difficult to forgive people who steal from you.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Jesus
