DONUT THEOLOGY
I learned Donut Theology over on the other side of the Pond. While trying to listen and marinate for possible prayer, without noticing, I was dunking my donut in my Cuban Coffee. It seemed with each bite and sip new thoughts and insights kept coming to me. Many confusing things took on new meaning and clarity.
Knowing this new secret of exegesis I wondered if adding to the coffee would add to the revelation. Next time away from the Pond I ordered a double mocha frappccino latte with oat milk and a shot of vanilla and cinnamon. It was more like drinking cake or cookies or candy instead of coffee. The Donut dunked in the Cuban Coffee was plenty. Being over sugared did not help with clear theopneusty.
So back over to the other side of the Pond for slow Cuban Coffee and slow Donut dunking. Like a lot of theology… Donut Theology has holes in it.
