COMPLEXITY OF GOOD QUESTIONS
Kevin Nye, author, wrote:
“In the gospels, Jesus is asked 187 questions. He answers (maybe) 8 of them. He himself asks 307. Maybe faith isn’t about certainty, but learning to ask—and sit in the complexity of – good questions.”
It seems to me that we can be certain about our faith but also know that it is growing, changing, developing and is always full of various questions. Nye is right in “learning to ask—and sit in the complexity of – good questions.” By grace and faith I think we will also receive good answers.
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Jesus
