HEAD TILTING
I have noticed that when someone tilts their head to listen to me… I know they are not listening. I have also noticed when someone tilts their head to talk to me… I know they are trying to think of something to say. Head Tilting just means something is uneven besides the head.
It is the same as when in conversation we are spoken to at ground water level and we were looking for and expecting a deeper well. Something was tilted.
If something is tilted it needs returned to balance. For example: A balanced diet is a Carnita’s Taco in each hand. That way we won’t tip over or tilt to one side or the other.
I’m headed over to the other side of the Pond for some Cuban Coffee and Sopapillas and Honey. I need to think about what it means when others just tilt their head and look at you and say nothing. Just like Mrs. Reddish did to me in the third grade, she tilted her head and squinted her eyes and said nothing. I didn’t either.
“So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.” Jesus
