A NEW TONGUE

In my office area I have a recliner that has been part of my office furnishings for a long time. Roz bought this chair for me many years ago and I really like it for reading, relaxing and meditation. I have prayed, and prayed in tongues many times through the years in this chair. Recently I was reading in the chair and started to speak in a new tongue. Roz came in a little later and I told her about this new tongue incident. She said she actually heard it clearly from the kitchen area and the new tongue sounded like it had a lot of ZZZZ’s in it. She went on to say that when she checked on me, she came into the office area and my head was tilted back and my mouth was flopped open and the new tongue actually sounded to her like snoring. Now that’s odd, because I would think a spiritual exercise like this would make a different sound. As the Psalmist says…. This is what I was doing…
“The floods have lifted up, O LORD,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their roaring.
Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
the Lord on high is mighty!” (Palm 93:3-4)

Roz said, ‘You were snoring.’

She must also have the gift of interpreting tongues. So much for my new tongue.
