THE TO-DON’T LIST
David Perell, blogger and author wrote:
“For a season of your life (anywhere from three months to three years), say “no” to anything that doesn’t support your goals. Creating a To-Don’t list is as important as creating a To-Do list, because avoiding distractions gives you space to focus on the most important things in your life.”
Allowing ourselves to always be super busy can translate over into a… see how valuable and important I am. From there it can produce a works mind-set… the more I do, the better I perform…the more pleased God and others will be with me. Religious ritual and thought can be so damaging and deceitful. The Father loves and accepts us… that’s it and that’s all. Anything we do is because of what has been done.
It is so critically important to our love relationship with the Father to have a To-Don’t list. It is finished. It is all done. The To-Do list is to chill out, eat tacos and love Jesus and others.
