MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS
Making right decisions first comes from what is called Natural Law, which is innate to the human ability to know right and wrong. This ability can be distorted, damaged or destroyed by wrong willful choices or it can be sustained and promoted by right willful choices.
Spiritual Law supersedes Natural Law when we are “born from above” by the Spirit of God. Right decisions become normal and require less time to sort properly. We have an innate desire to please the Father and make decisions according to righteousness or rightness. Our conscience now has remorse when we make wrong decisions and we should quickly desire repentance and forgiveness. It is much easier to live in what is right than in what is wrong.
We should perhaps be careful to not have ‘a hell of a good time’ because it will not have a happy ending. However, ‘having a good time’ will have a happy ending. It just requires making a right decision.
Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) said, “The time is always right to do what is right.”
“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” Jesus
