AMERICA AND CHRISTIAN

“Is the church narrating what it means to be an American or is America narrating what it means to be the church?” Dr. Tripp York

Good question. The answer is not simple, but then again it is if we put it into a historical and cultural frame. Countries and cultures cannot form us into disciples. Scripture, faith and life together must form us and that gives our identity and loyalty to Jesus and perhaps not to the church or America.
