THE WAY OF SONS #4

The life of God becomes our life. Jesus the perfect Son was the life exampled on the earth. While in his humanity he walked the earth as fully man filled with the Holy Spirit and his deity was laid aside. He was like us. Our degree of sonship is directly relational to the amount of the life of God we desire. Perfect sonship to God is perfect faith, hope and love, peaceful obedience and serving others as an expression of these traits.

In this way of life, the life of God, we humans can fully know full potential. We become infused and regenerated for the life of God; which is super-natural life. All life is clearly natural, regardless of intellect, conditioning and reason, and remains natural until the Holy Spirit brings a new birth and a new life from the Father (John 3:1-12). Jesus Christ is the life and light pattern that the Father has sent to us. Whatever he is, we are, or we are becoming. Whatever he does, we are doing, or are beginning to do. Whatever he thinks, we think. Whatever he heals, lifts up, blesses, touches, casts out, has compassion for, has mercy for, has grace for, and spends his time and energy on, so must we. We are sons with The Son. We know the Father, we know life and we share His Spirit. We have His nature by having His Spirit and we have the Father realized in knowing Jesus as the Son who makes sons.

Father, make sons of your people. Make me a son.

“The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” Jesus
