THE RIGHT WEIGHT
The day after Thanksgiving is a day to remember. There is usually very little Giving of Thanks and lots and lots of food for which I am thankful if that counts. Eating all the wonderful food and being with family and friends is also something to be thankful for. At least this is my experience.
The problem with this holiday is the pies. Many in our family know how to make pies… any and every kind… and make them well. The rest of us know how to eat them well and this causes one to get fat. Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend I gained 55 pounds and now I am that much over weight.
I am not really fat…just easy to see. I just need to grow 13 inches taller and not lose any weight. I would be the right height for my weight on the chart. I would need to be seven feet and one inch tall. I think this is doable and I would be the right weight. I think there is still some leftover pie in the kitchen. Leftover dead turkey and dressing and stuff like that never enter my mind.
“Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.” Jesus
