DOUBLE SAFE IDENTITY

Not long ago Roz and I went to a Medical Center so I could get a test done. These procedures can make people nervous and raise blood pressure even if they are fine when they go in for these kinds of tests.

 A cute young woman (22-25 years old) checked me into the (out patient) Medical Center to get my test.  Roz and I were sitting there filling out the paper work when the young woman put an identification bracelet on each of my wrists. I asked, “Why a bracelet on each wrist?”  With hardly a change in tone or emotion she said, “It’s in case you get one of your arms cut off between here and the exam room. They will still be able to identify you.”  There you have it. Makes perfect sense.
